About The Middle Ground
Most of what hits our inboxes is either reactive noise or 50-page reports that nobody actually has time to finish. I started The Middle Ground to cut through that.
I’ve spent the last decade at the intersection of U.S. and Israel policy—most recently at the Israel Policy Forum—navigating the constant friction between Washington and Jerusalem. I’ve lived and worked in both North America and Israel, and I know that the real “strategic signal” usually gets lost in the headlines.
No Noise. Just Signal.
I don’t send emails to hit a weekly quota. Your inbox is crowded enough. Instead, I provide Tactical Briefings only when the board moves.
When a major policy shift breaks, when a naval pivot occurs in the Red Sea, or when a political reshuffle in D.C. or Jerusalem changes the math, you’ll hear from me.
What to expect:
The Briefing: Expert analysis delivered when a story actually matters, not just because it’s a certain day of the week.
Simple vs. Complex: I’ll give you the headline everyone is reading, followed by the strategic reality they’re missing.
The Bottom Line: Every post starts with a 60-second summary. I value your time as much as your perspective.
In this space, some things are simple; many are complex. I’m here to help you tell the difference.
